Bridgwater Library Half Term Activities
Over the half term holidays at Bridgwater Library we have a number of different FREE activities going on! Colouring competition Running from 21st May until the 11th June. We want help to design a new crown for the Queen for her Jubilee.  It can be decorated in any way you like using any materials you like. Children can enter either by handing it in in person at Bridgwater Library, emailing us at brwlib@somerset.gov.uk or messaging us on Facebook at Somerset Libraries Bridgwater. Click here for the poster. Treasure Hunt From the 28th May - 11th June we will be running a special Jubilee Treasure Hunt. Pictures will be hidden around the library each with a letter attached.  Find all the letters to unscramble the word to win a small prize. Click here for the poster. Lego Club Special Jubilee Lego club will be running on 4th June 10.30-11.15.  We will be asking children to create a new crown for the Queen. Click here for the poster. Photography session On Wednesday 1st June at 2:30pm - 4:30pm we are lucky to have local photographer Richard Tomlinson popping in to run a FREE workshop in how to shoot close up photographs of natural objects. No need to book, just turn up - this workshop is suitable for both children and adults. Click here for the poster.

New website for parents to help their children catch-up
The Department for Education has launched an information site for parents, to support children of all age ranges and abilities catch-up on lost learning from the pandemic. The site also features advice and support for parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as programmes for the summer.
